1. Bohag (Rongali) Bihu, 2012: VicAssam celebrated Bohag Bihu this year on 21 April 2012. The venue was St Scholastic Church Hall, 348 Burwood Highway, Bennetswood (Burwood). Mayukh Hazarika, the nephew of late Dr Bhupen Hazarika, and his wife, Laili,  performed in the function.

2. Zubeen Garg entertained the Assamese community on 3 November 2012. It was an event which will be remembered by the community for years to come.

3. Magh (Bhogali) Bihu 2013: The community celebrated Magh Bihu on 20 January 2013 in the Doutta Gala Hall, Essendon North. In addition to traditional delicacies, the community also organised games for both adults and children. A fancy dress competition was also organised for the children.  It was a fun filled day for everyone.

4. Bohag (Rongali) Bihu 2013: The community celebrated Rangali Bihu on 20 April 2013 in the Renaissance Theatre, Kew.

5. Magh (Bhogali) Bihu 2014: The community celebrated Magh Bihu at the Eynesbury Discovery Center, Eynesbury Rd, Eynesbury VIC 3338. It was celebrated in the typical Assamese way. Few dishes were cooked outdoors,  mimicking the ritual of Bon Bhuj in Assam.

6. Bohag (Rongali) Bihu 2014: The community celebrated Bohag Bihu on 12 April, 2014 at the Holy Redeemer Parish Hall, 311 Mont Albert Road, Surrey Hills 3127.

7. Bohagi Bidaai 2014: The community celebrated Bohagi Bidaai on 31 May 2014.

8. Magh (Bhogali) Bihu 2015: The community celebrated Magh Bihu on 10 January 2015, in the Diggers Rest Community Hall  48 -68 Plumpton Road, Diggers Rest.

9. Bohag Bihu 2015: The community celebrated Bohag Bihu on 18 April, 2015 at the Mt Waverley Community Centre, 47 Miller Crescent, Mt Waverley, Vic 3149.. The function was attended by Mr C. Srinivasan, Chairman, Multi-Cultural Victoria.

10. Magh (Bhogali) Bihu 2016: The community celebrated Magh Bihu on 16 January, 2016 at the Torquay Senior Citizens Club, 16 Price Street, Torquay. 

11. Bohag Bihu 2016: The community celebrated Bohag Bihu on 16 April, 2016 at the Mt Waverley Community Centre, 47 Miller Crescent, Mt Waverley, Vic 3149.

12. Bohagi Bidaai 2016: The community celebrated Bohagi Bidaai on 18 June 2016 at the the Lions Club Hall, 1230 Riversdale Road, Box Hill South, Vic 3128.

13. Magh (Bhogali) Bihu 2017: The community celebrated Magh Bihu on 15 January, 2017 at the Torquay Senior Citizens Club, 16 Price Street, Torquay. 

14. Bohag Bihu 2017: The community celebrated Bohag Bihu on 15 April, 2017 at the Clayton Community Hall, Clayton, 264 Clayton Road, Clayton, Vic 3168.

15. Magh (Bhogali) Bihu 2018: The community celebrated Magh Bihu on 14 January, 2018 at the Torquay Senior Citizens Club, 16 Price Street, Torquay. 

16. Rongali (Bohag) Bihu 2018: The community celebrated Bohag Bihu on 14 April, 2018 at the Holy Redeemer Parish Hall, 311 Mont Albert Road, Surrey Hills, Vic 3127.

17. Assam Convention: The 2nd Assam Convention was held in Melbourne on 28 and 29 September 2018. Participants from all Australian states, as well as, New Zealand were present.

18. Magh (Bhogali) Bihu 2019: The community celebrated Magh Bihu on 19 January, 2019 in Fitzroy.

19. Rongali (Bohag) Bihu 2019: The community celebrated Bohag Bihu on 14 April, 2019 at the Phoenix Hall, East Malvern

20. Bohagi Bidai 2019: The community celebrated Bohagi Bihu on 14 April, 2019 at the Phoenix Hall, East Malvern. The popular Assamese singer, Vreegu Kashyap, was an invited guest singer for this event.

21. Shankardev´s Tithi 2019: The community celebrated Mahapurus Shree Shankardev´s tithi for the first time on 8 September 2019 at the Box Hill Lions Club Hall, Box Hill South.

22. Community Picnic 2019: The community organised a family picnic on 23 November 2019 at the Goulburn River Park, Seymour. It was a fun outing for the whole community.

23. Bhogali Bihu 2020: The community celebrated Bhogali Bihu on 18 January 2020 at the Melton Community Hall, Melton.
